WOMEN’S RODEO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP REVEALS 2022 EVENT SCHEDULE
–All Rounds to Be Held in The Historic Cowtown Coliseum–
AUSTIN, Tex. – In lead-up to the Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC), the richest women’s event in the history of rodeo has announced a daily schedule, outlining the three-day event (May 16-18) at the Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas.
The $750,000 guaranteed payout all-women’s rodeo with equal money in all four disciplines ($182,500 per discipline) will launch on May 16 with round one of qualifying rounds in all disciplines (barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping) followed by team roping and breakaway roping qualifying round two on May 17.
All semi-final rounds will be held on May 17 where the top four athletes in each discipline from their respective leaderboard will advance to the May 18 showdown round and meet the leaderboard number one athletes.
The top three ladies from each discipline in the showdown round will progress to the Triple Crown of Rodeo Round, which will be broadcasted on a CBS Network Telecast. A complete tentative schedule of events is listed below:

The organization recently announced that World Championship titles will be crowned in all disciplines (heading, heeling, breakaway roping, barrel racing) from the cumulative points standings in both the Pro Leaderboard and the Challenger Leaderboard. The All-Around World Championship will be awarded based on total cumulative points earned from the combined pro and challenger leaderboards. Athletes will also be competing for the event champion title based on the three-day event results.
Each event Champion will walk away with $60,000 while the All-Around World Champion will earn a $20,000 cash bonus. WRWC will also award each World Champion a $5,000 bonus per discipline per leaderboard along with a Jessie Jaymes Silversmith world champion buckle.
Athletes ranked in the top 20 of their respective leaderboards and any athlete with a Qualifier Series generic qualification and the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo Qualifiers are eligible to enter the event.
