About The Women’s Rodeo Championships
The Women’s Rodeo Championships (WRC) is a groundbreaking, female-organized championship event born from the partnership between the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) and Professional Bull Riders (PBR).
As the richest women-only rodeo event in history, WRWC provides female rodeo athletes with their own premier championship platform, broadcast across the largest media networks.
At its core, WRC is driven by a mission to create more opportunities for women in rodeo and elevate their presence in sports. By spotlighting female athletes and their incredible talent, WRWC is paving the way for a more inclusive future in rodeo and beyond.
About the Women’s Rodeo World Championship
The WRWC is the largest annual purse for a women’s rodeo event and will payout more than $802 in 2025 while crowning World Champions in the Women’s Rodeo disciplines; Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing and Goat Tying. An all-around champion will also be crowned.
WRWC is a culmination of a year-long race of women’s rodeo events worldwide. Athletes qualify for the WRWC by earning points and leaderboard positions using the VRQ (Virtual Rodeo Qualifier).
The championship event will take place at the historic Cowtown Coliseum May 12-14 and event champions will be crowned at AT&T Stadium in conjunction with the PBR World Finals on May 17.
