CIRCLE Y SADDLES PARTNERS WITH WRWC ON 2024 CHAMPIONS SADDLE PARTNERSHIP

The Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) and Circle Y Saddles have partnered for the 2024 event, which will take place May 13-18. The event will award $750,000 in prize money and has earned the title of the world’s richest women’s rodeo.

Circle Y Saddles will manufacture all WRWC event championship saddles when they are crowned inside AT&T Stadium on May 18. Since 1660, Circle Y has carried on with traditions of excellence, always striving to make the best saddles possible. Each saddle is constructed by a team of expert craftsmen who combine decades of knowledge and new technology to meet riders’ needs.

“Circle Y is thrilled to honor the WRWC champions with a custom saddle,” said Dara Loudon, senior marketing manager. The WRWC embodies an amazing group of women. We sincerely hope that the saddle awarded will always bring back memories of her incredible achievement. Each saddle carries its own unique story, and we are beyond excited to be a part of this one.”

The WRWC is the biggest annual purse for a women’s rodeo event. It is a joint effort between the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and the WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance). The event is set to crown World Champions in the Women’s Rodeo disciplines such as Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, and Barrel Racing, while also crowning an all-around world champion. The competition is set to pay out more than $750,000 in 2024.

“Circle Y’s strong sense of community and pride reflects the values of the WRWC and this partnership will enable us to continue striving for greatness,” said Linsay Rosser-Sumpter, Commissioner of WRWC. “Our athletes strive hard to earn the champion saddle at our event, and we take immense pride in Circle Y crafting each of these saddles with excellence, making them a cherished possession that can be passed on for generations.”

In 2024, after four days of competition inside Cowtown Coliseum from May 13-16, 2024, the Championship Round of the Women’s Rodeo World Championship will conclude inside the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys alongside the 2024 PBR World Finals Championship on May 18, 2024, where each WRWC event champion will be crowned, earning the lion’s share of the massive $750,000 purse.

Since launching in May 2020, the WRWC has awarded more than $3 million in new money to women’s rodeo athletes. For more information about the WRWC visit wrwc.rodeo.
